About Hesela
Privacy and site data
A technical description of browsing, local preferences and contact links on Hesela's knowledge websites.
Site-feature review: .
Browsing and infrastructure
Hesela's knowledge pages and data downloads are served through Cloudflare. Delivering and securing web requests involves network information such as IP addresses and request metadata. A static website does not mean that its hosting or security infrastructure keeps no logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its description of service processing.
Search and calculators
Site search downloads an index and matches queries in your browser. It does not call a remote AI service. On the full search page, the query appears in the URL: that URL can appear in browser history and in requests when you open, share or reload it. Do not put confidential information in a search query.
The storage calculators run locally in your browser and do not upload the values you enter. They do not read your disks, files or device telemetry.
Preferences
hesela.com stores the selected light or dark theme under hesela-theme in browser local storage. Clearing that site's stored data removes the preference. This preference is separate from cookies or security mechanisms that the delivery infrastructure may use.
Cookie settings list the optional services configured for this version. A saved consent choice uses a first-party hesela-consent cookie for 180 days. No optional service is activated by default. See cookies and browser storage for the scope and limitations of these controls.
Email and external links
Contact links open your email application. A correction link includes the public page address and title in a draft; you choose whether to send it. Sending email shares your address and message with the recipients and the mail providers involved. Send only the information needed for your enquiry.
Following a source link takes you to another operator's service and privacy practices. Hesela does not control those services.
Privacy questions
Contact privacy@hesela.com for questions about personal information in correspondence, infrastructure processing or a privacy concern. This technical description does not promise anonymous delivery, zero logging or a particular retention period.
